Fox in Pumpkin w/Kinda Cute

Hello friends! Happy Halloween!!!

Sharing another card using an amazing digi from the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop! This is Fox in Pumpkin, and I think he was perfect for a Halloween card but super perfect for all kinds of other cards too!

I colored him up with my Copics, and then added him to some super old Doodlebug paper… I can’t believe I still had full sheets of this paper. Well, okay. I can believe it haha. But it was so much fun to find in my stash even after all these years!!

Make sure you stop by the Kinda Cute by Patricia Facebook Group and see what the rest of the team is up to!!

Happy Halloween w/Time for Tea

It’s time for a new share with this adorable digi from Time for Tea Designs!! This is Witchy Flight and I just ADORE her and her crazy broom flight! Look at her hair just flying out behind her… she must be having a blast lol!!

I colored her up with my Copics and then stuck her on this super fun Doodlebug Halloween paper from a year ago… or it might be more than a year old haha. Let’s face it, I hoard paper and have no real clue how long I’ve had some stuff haha!!

Make sure to swing by the Time for Tea FB Group to see what the rest of the team is up to!

Magical Friends Collaboration w/Kindred Stamps

Sharing a project today for the Magical Friends Collaboration with Witt and Sass!!

I paired up the Witt and Sass Magical Creatures set with the Kindred Stamps Masters of Magic set to create my card.

The house friends from the W&S set are SUPER cute and they were so much fun to color up after doing up this giant… heʻs so much brown lol!!

I also used the small image stamps from both sets to create my background =o)

And make sure you come join us over at the Kindred Stamps FB Group and the Witt & Sass FB Group to see the amazing makes everyone else is sharing!!

CFC 211 w/CAS-ual Fridays

It’s time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!! This challenge, the theme is to start with this inspiration picture:

I went with the woodgrain and the big image as the focal point of the card. I used what might arguably be my favorite CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Set, the Pretty Posies stamp set to create this card. This big flower is just too pretty. I colored it up with my Copics and then added some stickles to dress it up a bit!

The sentiment is also from the same Pretty Posies stamp set. And yes, I know my color scheme is so different from the picture but I don’t really do fall/autumn so this just worked for me!! =o)

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon! Make sure to swing by the challenge and join in!!

Kindred Stamps October New Release!

It’s new release time over at Kindred Stamps!! Make sure you jump into the FB Event to see the rest of the release and to see the amazing samples from the design team!

I got to play with this circus-tastic set “Come One Come All.” SO CUTE. So so cute!!

My first project features this big-eared fly guy… such a super cute little dude. I paired him with some pastel-ish paper and stamped all over the background using the other friends in his set.

I popped him up on some 3D dots and then added the sentiment with a little fishtail to it.

This second card features the ringleader! He definitely wasn’t my favorite person in that movie but he’s a lot more likable in this set haha!! I added him to some balloon paper from a glitter stack I got on clearance FIVE years ago. But I finally tore a sheet out of this stack to use so I’m making progress on using up my stash haha!!

I colored him up with my Copics and added some tickets to fill out that orange strip going across the card behind him. I also added the sentiment as a fishtail banner on the top right of the card. And the balloons on the card all have glitter on them already so I didn’t need to add anything else to it!!

Have you seen what else is out this month?? So many wonderful things, I wish I had more time and money so I can play with it all! And make sure you come join us over at the October New Release FB Event to see the amazing makes everyone else is sharing!!

Frankencutie w/Time for Tea

It’s my turn to share a project forTime for Tea Designs!! This is Frankencutie and she is just soooooo cute. I love her long crazy hair!!

I colored her up with my Copics and went for a grey-ish dead-pale kinda of coloring for her skin… it looks kinda gross haha! I love it!

You’re Fantastic! w/Kindred Stamps

Sharing a project today over at the Kindred Stamps blog!!

Today’s project features this nifty dude and his little friend from the Catcher of Beasts stamp set. I also broke out the distress oxide inks and the Distress Brick Stencil from the Kindred Stamps store.

I taped it down to a piece of scratch paper using some old washi that I looked at and thought, ‘why did I buy that??’… you ever think that about stuff you bought sometimes? Please don’t let it be just me!! haha. But I used a combination of Fired Brick, Wild Honey, and Candied Apple to make my background.

After coloring up the nifty dude, I cut him out using my Scan-n-Cut and then placed him at the bottom left corner… really it’s because there was a bit of a hole there where I didn’t blend out the inks so I wanted to cover it up!

I then stamped out the “you’re fantastic” sentiment on a piece of scrap cardstock, the same as the cardstock I was using as the base of my card. I used Versamark Ink and embossed it in a nice pale yellow color.

The last thing I did was to trim down the sentiment strip and tie some twine on the right edge of it. I popped it up with 3d foam.

Super happy with how this came out considering that I usually don’t break out the “messy” stuff so I’m a little out of practice with blending!!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon! And make sure you come join us over at the Kindred Stamps FB Group to see the amazing makes everyone else is sharing!!

CFC 210 w/CAS-ual Friday Stamps

It’s time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!! This fortnight, the challenge is:

I used the adorable stamp set Somebunny from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps shop. (he also has matching dies too!)

I heat embossed the sentiment (also from the Somebunny stamp set) with some pink embossing powder on grey cardstock and then fit it on a scalloped rectangle die-cut piece. I added the grey baker’s twine and sequins to the card to finish it off. So cute. But I think it’s time for me to invest in some new/better colored embossing powder too… I really need some super fine powder for sentiments!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you come join us in the challenge!!

Tricycle Boy w/Kinda Cute

Hello friends! Sharing another card using an amazing digi from the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop! This is Boy Riding a Tricycle and he looks like he’s having a blast!

I colored him up with my Copics and then added him to this super fun glittered alphabet paper. I’ve been hoarding this since like, 2007-ish… not even joking. It’s over a decade old lol!!! I have been trying to make a really big effort to use what I have, especially since I haven’t really restricted myself from buying haha! I just buy less.

Make sure you stop by the Kinda Cute by Patricia Facebook Group and see what the rest of the team is up to!!

Huge Hairy Hugs w/Kindred Stamps

Hey friends! So proud to announce that I’ve joined the Kindred Stamps team for this quarter!!

And it’s my turn today to share a project today over at the Kindred Stamps blog!! There’s a fan club challenge going on in the Kindred Stamps FB Group this month, and I used the Galactic Adventures: The Third stamp set to create my card today. I knew I wanted to use this furry guy first… truth time – I never *really* watched the movies but Big A loves them, so like all the other things my kids fall in love with, I gravitated towards stocking up on stamps and papers and whatever else I could get my hands on!! This one is currently out of stock in the Kindred Stamps Store but there’s 2 other sets in this series so you can still start your collection lol!!

So anyway, back to the challenge in the Kindred Stamps FB Group this month… lol. It’s a Kindred Holidays Challenge!! Take a non-holiday stamp set and create a holiday card with it! Any holiday goes!!

I knew I wanted to do a snow-something card and dug through my stamps to put this one together!! The background is multi-stamped with a small Hero Arts set I got from someone’s destash… you know the like 1″x1″ clear stamp that comes with two rows of adhesive gems that Hero Arts sells?? Yup, that one! I love the snowflakes!! And then I stamped out the big Avery Elle snowflake and embossed it with some silver embossing powder. Then I added this cute hairy dude… colored up with my Copics.

The last thing I did was add some baker’s twine to the bottom and stamp out this “huge hugs” sentiment from a love and wedding themed Paper Smooches set. I know the sentiment is not holiday specific, but I think it still works as a holiday card lol!!

And make sure you come join us over at the Kindred Stamps FB Group to see the amazing makes everyone else is sharing!! Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
