Blooming Lovely w/Time For Tea Designs

Hello friends! Sharing another card using the cuteness from Time for Tea Designs!! This is Blooming Lovely and I just adore her and the little roses in her hair!!

I went purple with this one you guys! She just needed to be that color for me for some reason!! And I couldn’t get the colors to come out right in the picture… The purple is correct but the rest of it looks so washed out!! She is so much cuter in person! lol. Latte Birthday w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share another fun coffee card!

I got to play with these adorable Coffee Brads again to make my card. I actually had just one white coffee cup left, so decided to use it to make a birthday card!

To make my background, I embossed a piece of dark red cardstock with a Happy Birthday themed folder. Then, I took two different circle punches and just punched out some circles, making sure to go off the edge on all of them!! After I added my sentiment strip, I added the white coffee cup to one of the circles, and then added two differently shaped white heart brads to the other two empty circles. LOVE how this card came out. The white coffee cup and heart brads really stand out against the dark background!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a fun card for a teenage boy using THREE different Kat Scrappiness stamp sets!

I’m using the new Swatches stamp setEvery Day Brush Strokes stamp set, and the sentiment is from the Punny Snacks stamp set! I just couldn’t help myself! It worked out SOOOO perfectly together.

This card was SO MUCH FUN. I wanted to make something for my oldest (14) to thank him for stepping up and taking on extra chores without complaint. The “without complaint” was the thing I thought needed to be rewarded! I used the one splotch from the Swatches stamp set and both splotches from the Every Day Brush Strokes stamp set, stamping them out in different colors from a variety of Lawn Fawn ink cube sets, particularly the Tropical, GazeboTea Party, and County Fair ink cube sets. I’ve even listed out the colors at the end of this post so you know *exactly* which were used because they look so nice together!! I then stamped out the “you’re the coolest” sentiment from the Punny Snacks stamp set with my Memento black ink pad at the bottom of the splotches.

I stamped out some stars from the Swatches stamp set on a scrap piece of paper using complementary colors from the Lawn Fawn ink cube sets and then cut them out (which was totally easy to do because it was all straight lines lol!). I popped up on some of the stars on 3d squares and tried to stagger them within the ink splotches. SO happy with how this one came together!

Ink colors used:
Stars: Dark Grey (Hippo from Tropical pack), Almost Black (Storm Cloud from County Fair pack), Dark Teal (Merman from Gazebo pack)
Splotches: Light Grey (Manatee from Gazebo pack), Green (Celery Stick from Tea Party pack), Orange (Carrot from Tropical pack), Light Teal (Mermaid from Tropical pack)

Sweet Spring with Time for Tea

Hello friends! Sharing another post for Time for Tea Designs using one of April’s New Releases, Blooming Lovely Sweet Smell of Spring! She is so adorable!

I just adore how happy she is up on her tip-toes while smelling that flower! And I wanted to keep the focus on her and her flower, so I tried to keep the colors matchy-but-neutral, and keep the patterned paper pretty subtle too so that it doesn’t detract from her! I colored her up with Copics and then popped her up on some 3D dots, and then I added a subtle little epoxy heart as another subtle embellishment.

New Baby w/ Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share another fun coffee card!

I got to play with these adorable Woodland Animal Brads for this card. As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to make a baby card and love how it came out!

They are just too adorable. You get these three characters – skunk, fox, and raccoon – and I couldn’t pick which one I wanted to use so all three of them went on the card together!!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a fun gift set using the new Owl Envelope Art stamp set!!

My niece absolutely loves owls (and birds in general!) and loves crafting with me so when I saw this set I knew I wanted to make her a set of cards that she could finish/color and give to her friends! I started by stamping this owl + sign on some white A2 envelopes. It’s tricky for me to stamp with large images, but this one was easy to use! I just had to clean out the middle of the sign on the stamp itself before I put it to paper because I tend to smoosh my ink pad in there and get ink everywhere lol!

Then I stamped the little individual owl from the new Owl Envelope Art stamp set 3x onto a card front. I also used the bold Happy Mail sentiment. I figured that was sentiment enough on the outside; she could put whatever sentiment and message she wanted on the inside and it would definitely still be relevant!

Because I gifted her with some crayons to color these cuties up, I didn’t worry about what ink pad I used. So I just grabbed the closest one to me lol!! It ended up being the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. I had to use my Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform to stamp that image out because I wanted to make sure it was a nice dark-lined image for her to color but it worked out so nicely! Stamping multiple times in the exact same spot was a piece of cake with that platform!

I’m sure she’ll love it… and I’m also pretty sure I’ll be stamping out more for her very soon! Thanks for stopping by friends!

Blooming Thank You with Time for Tea

Hi friends! I’m so delighted to join the Time for Tea Designs team!! And I am totally a week behind the release, so I apologize for that!! But this is one of the new releases for April from the Blooming Lovely collection, Blooming Lovely Gardening Girl.

She is just too adorable!! And I knew I needed to color her up with this green (Copic YG60’s) and pair her with this old old OLD Pebbles Inc paper. It was sitting at the top of my scrap pile and I knew it would be a perfect match!

Cool Beans w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog again today to share a super fun card that really challenged me!

I got to play with these adorable Coffee Brads again to make my card. The Coffee Brads set comes with these coffee beans, and to be honest, I was STUMPED on what I was going to do with them until I saw this sentiment from a coffee stamp set! How perfect is that?!?

I stamped out my diagonal line of beans and then glued down my sentiment circle so that I knew where I wanted to place these coffee bean brads. I love that they give my otherwise flat card some dimension!! They totally make the card!!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

10 Cards, 1 Kit w/Creative Escape Papercrafting

Hi Friends! I’m sharing a 10 cards, 1 kit video today using the March Amazing Value Kit over at Creative Escape Papercrafting. It was so easy to put together, and I have SO MUCH PAPER left over that I can probably make another 10 cards!! I think in total, it took me about 1.5 hours to get these cards done and I definitely didn’t rush doing it at all!

And here are the 10 cards I made in this video:

SO MUCH FUN. Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Patriotic Thanks w/Kat Scrappiness

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a patriotic card using the new Swatches stamp set!!

This one is semi-quick and simple because I’m putting together a whole bunch of cards to send over to a friend who collects cards and sends them to troops stationed overseas! So I needed to be able to make a small stack of these cards fairly quickly, and wanted to stick with a simple layout.

I stamped the star from the new Swatches stamp set all over the background with my Versamark Ink Pad before heat embossing it so that it stood out nicely. I used clear embossing powder to make sure that my stars would stay nice and bright white!

Then I went over the background with some blue Distress Inks and my blending tool. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire, starting with the lightest color (Tumbled Glass) in the middle and working my way out with the darkest color (Chipped Sapphire) at the edges. The last thing I did was add the “thanks” sentiment, stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For the record, I LOVE using this Memento black ink pad for stamping sentiments because it makes a nice dark print.

Love this Swatches stamp set! So many uses for these stamps, and I can’t wait to actually make some swatches with it too haha!!
