Air Mail w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a quick but pretty thank you card!

This Red White Blue Stripe washi tape in the Eyelet Outlet store reminded me of air mail and sending happy mail! So I wanted to make a card using it so that I could send a quick but simply decorated thank you card! I even lined the envelope with a strip of this Red White Blue Stripe washi tape to match!! And I dug through my stash and found this super cute paper airplane stamp along with this perfectly matched sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

2018-05 May 10 Cards, 1 Kit w/Creative Escape Papercrafting

Hey friends! Sharing another 10 Cards, 1 Kit video using the May Amazing Value Kit from Creative Escape Papercrafting! I shared the haul video last week, and then got to play with it a little bit! And like usual, I have a TON of stuff leftover and plan to try to make another 10 cards using whatever I have left + some extra cardstock. So without further ado, here’s the 10 cards I made, and at the very end of the post I have a video of how I put it all together!!

Loved this. Usually am scared of wood embellishments but these words were just gorgeous.

I had to do multiple embossings on this one to make it stand out. And I tried to go for a falling rain/falling stars effect with the sequins.

The word “glows” on this card uses both glitter embossing powder and glow-in-the-dark embossing powder. I think the whole card came out so cute!!

And as promised, here’s the video! As usual, I am diecutting pieces that won’t be seen to try and get more out of my paper and cardstock!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!

Congrats Chicky w/Time for Tea

Happy Monday (or Tuesday depending on where you are!) friends!! I’m here sharing a super fun chicky from Time for Tea Designs!! This is a sneak peek of one of the new May digis that’s coming out next week!! So excited to share the rest with you and show you some fun new cards too!!

I colored him up with Copics and then added some super fun pastel sequins because the colors matched super nicely with the background paper! I know you can’t see much of it, but I promise, it works!! haha!! And I tried really, really hard to make sure that I lined up the sequins so that it was coming from under his wing… it was intentional in order to avoid making him look like he was blowing rainbows out of his a–. I’ll save that for a different card next time haha!!!

Make sure to swing by the Time for Tea FB Group to see what the rest of the team is up to! And make sure you swing by next week so you can see the entire May release!!

Disney Birthday w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a super quick card for Disney lovers (like me)!

Our family is a HUGE Disney family. Not as huge as my sister-in-law’s Disney love, but we definitely love it!! So when I saw this circle washi tape in the Eyelet Outlet store, I knew I had to have it!! The colors were just perfect, and the different sizes of overlapping circles were so fun and playful!!

I paired it with some red star washi tape and black and white zig zag washi tape, leaving a little bit of space in between each strip. To finish it off, I added some red swirl bling to the bottom of the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Blooming Lovely Balloons w/Time for Tea

Hi Friends! Another post up for me today featuring one of the adorably amazing digis from Time for Tea Designs! This is Blooming Lovely Balloons. I have SUCH a soft spot for balloons… and penguins… and umbrellas… and weirdly enough, denim/jeans!! haha! And I absolutely love that her balloon bouquet is made up of flowers!

After I colored her up with my Copics I stared at her for a while… My process is usually to color and then match the colored image with patterned paper and cardstock. But sometimes I pick weird color combos that I have a hard time matching! Not that I think she’s colored weird… I love this color on her! But it was SOOOO hard to find paper that matched! lol. Eventually I found this beautiful floral paper and it worked out perfectly! It just took me a little extra time to get her to come together!!

Make sure to swing by the Time for Tea FB Group to see what the rest of the team is up to!
