Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a card featuring some of the amazing dies in the Kat Scrappiness store!!

I started with the Stitched Scallop Border Dies, using the one with the smallest scallops. I took some of this yummy coordinating paper, 4 sheets total, and cut them to 4″ x 5.25″, perfect as a mat on this card. Then I started running them through my diecut machine, making sure to stagger them out so you could see the beautiful patterns. I tried to make the curve in the Stitched Scallop Border Die sorta line up on each layer, but I wasn’t super exact.

Then I used some matching baker’s twine as an accent behind the sentiment, cut out using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies and used one of my favorite sentiments from the Everyday Brush Strokes Stamp Set, stamping it out Memento ink in Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap piece of white paper. The last thing I did was use my Crystal Katana to add some of these amazing new Jewels in Champagne to the card. They’re a beautiful yellowish-gold in the package, but because they’re kinda clear, they pick up some of the color of whatever they’re sitting on. So I love that they pulled some of the blue-grey from the paper!! So pretty!!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a card featuring some of the new products in the Kat Scrappiness store!! But first I wanted to share with you my latest haul video… some products I got in July as well as the items from our August DT package!

And now onto my project!

I used one of the new backdrop dies, the Stitched Scalloped Collage Frame Die along with the new Crafters Gonna Craft Stamp Set. This stamp set is just amazing. I love how you have all kinds of sentiments and crafting essentials in this set!! I also used one of the adorable Heffy Doodle stamp sets from my latest KS haul as well! This set is Elephant of Surprise and these elephants are just too cute!! I stamped everything out with my Memento ink in Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them up with my Copics and trimmed them out.

Here’s a speed process video too, showing how I put it together from start to finish. There’s no voiceover in the video, just music, so feel free to watch it on mute! And the video is sped up 8x, so in total it took me about 40 minutes to get this all done… the coloring tends to take some time but the fussy cutting definitely took the longest!

Swinging Birthday Boy w/Kinda Cute

Hello friends! Sharing another card using an amazing digi from the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop! This is Boy and Swing and he is so cute sitting there… makes me want my own swing set!

I colored him up with my Copics and then added him to some plaid-ish blue paper… I wanted to stick with primary colors because I thought it matched him perfectly! The last thing I did was add some yellow Nuvo drops for a little pop of color! Simple and cute, just how I like it!! haha!!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a card featuring the one of the new backdrop dies, the Stitched Diagonal Backdrop Die in the Kat Scrappiness store!!!

I thought it was perfect to make a shaker card with, and wanted to use one of the adorable Heffy Doodle stamp sets from my latest KS haul (video coming soon!) as well! This set is Oceans of Love and there are some adorable sea creatures in here!! I was too lazy to mask the stamps, so did my best to line them up close to each other and with the exception of the sting ray’s tail, tried not to overlap them. After I stamped them out with my Memento ink in Tuxedo Black, I stamped out some of the bubbles that come in the set in blue ink, and then colored up these fishy friends with my Copics and trimmed them out. I also added some glitter to the bubbles and the narwhal’s horn, because GLITTER. haha!

After stamping out my sentiment across the diagonal panel (also using my Memento ink in Tuxedo Black), I added some of the smallest Pretty Pink Jewels to the card. I also used some of the beautiful Mint Sparkles Sequins Mix to fill my shaker. I absolutely LOVE the texture in the gold stars as well as the big clear iridescent sequins. So pretty!!

CFC205 w/CAS-ual Friday Stamps

Hi friends! It’s time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge:

I used the Pretty Posies stamp set from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps shop to make the background of my card, masking off that middle white section with some washi tape! The “feel better soon” sentiment also came from the Pretty Posies stamp set, and I love how simple and sweet the scripty font is in this set! And I apologize PROFUSELY for this picture… I am just about done with my craft corner redo but that doesn’t include figuring out a new setup for my work area, which doubles as my photo/video area. So the lighting is HORRID.

The last thing I did for this card was use my trusty ‘ol scoreboard to create the embossed edge to the white panel. SUPER simple thing to do and I just love it!!

Thanks for stopping by, and hope to see you come join in the challenge!!

Fly On! w/Beth Duff Designs

Hey friends! I’m on the Beth Duff Designs Blog today sharing an all-occasion card from the Fly On! digi set in the Beth Duff Designs Shop! I say all-occasion because I really don’t know what I’m going to use him for… something school related? Drawing related? Or even just simply a birthday or thank you card for a dragon-loving kid! So ultimately, I left it blank because I figure I will know what to use him for when the time comes!

Shake Time w/Time for Tea

Hello friends! It’s time for my weekly share for Time for Tea Designs! This week I’m using the Milkshake and Iced Coffee collection and just LOVE this set!! She is so sassy and fun, and the sentiments are just adorable too!!

I accidentally printed out the sentiment bigger than I wanted it to be haha!! It became the focal point of the card and I think that it’s still okay!! It’s a good sentiment and a good focal point to have!! The last thing I did was add some sequins to the corners to add a little sparkle to her sass!
