Wild About You w/CCM

I have a card to share today for ChiChi Memories!!  I’m definitely ALLLLLLLL about the Valentines cards so here’s a cutie to share with you that’s actually not a Valentines image but it perfect on this card I think!  He is Lion Boy and he is sold individually as well as in a set of other super cute kiddos in costume, Costume Set 2.  I think that set is definitely on my shopping list!!  I thought this heart paper was perfect for this kind of sentiment!!  He originally got lost in the background but a simple punched circle did the trick!

Happy Tuesday friends!  Hope you’re having a wonderful week!

Whimsie Doodles Banner

I’m blogging over at Whimsie Doodles today!!  And I’m back with another (surprise, surprise!) Valentines card!!!  This cutie is “Need A Hug” in the People section of the store.

She is perfect for any occasion, really, but I thought she’d be sweet on a love-themed card!  I remember having a doll I used to hold dearly every night… now I have a kitty and 3 little boys to keep me warm!!!  haha!!

Have a wonderful week!!

Love You Penguin w/KBD

It’s Aloha Friday which means it’s time for a new challenge over at Kitty Bee Designs’ Aloha Friday Challenges!  The theme for this challenge is “Scraps” and we’re sponsored bydoodlepantry

I got to play with this set, “Loving Critters.”  As soon as I saw the penguin I just knew it was the one to work with!  Big A has definitely passed on his penguin obsession… every time I see penguins I think of him, and I’m always looking out for these animals!!

These scraps are all from Bo Bunny’s Head Over Heels line… I used them to make tons and tons of valentine’s cards this year and was so glad to have even worked most of my scraps onto cards!

Come swing by the challenge!!

Analogous Color Challenge w/FAE

It’s time for a new monthly Faery Ink Facebook Challenge!!  This month, the challenge is to use Analogous colors…  colors that are in a row on the color wheel.  Here’s the example I found using the color wheel:

image found here via Google search

I pulled the pink -> red -> orange color scheme.  And only now do I realize the wheel looks more purple than pink, but just roll with me here!! haha.  I used this balloon cutie to make a birthday card… except I am NOT happy with the sentiment.  It took me forever to finish this card simply because I couldn’t figure out where/how to place that sentiment.  And after a couple of days of playing around with ideas and walking away from it when I got frustrated, I just picked the one I liked the best.  I may pull it apart and redo if I figure something else out!!

Come swing by the FB group and join the fun challenge!!

Happy Girl Hello! w/CCM

I have a card to share today for ChiChi Memories!!  This cute is Happy Girl from the latest release. Just looking at her brightens my mood and makes me smile.  I love her little pigtails!!

I definitely went for a clean and simple layout for this card.  Initially I wasn’t going to use any patterned paper but I found this one and thought it was perfect to give her a little bit of a backdrop.  And I tried to give her hair some texture… looks like I need to get back to my coloring classes!!!  haha!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Birthday Bot w/NJC

It’s time for a new challenge over at Not Just Cards!  As always, anything goes!!

This challenge we’re sponsored by:

I ABSOLUTELY could NOT find my mojo this week and fell back to making a card.  I love that I can fall back on something when my mojo is missing.  This dude – “Peace Bot” was so fun to work with… I just think he’s super cute and loving the image always makes it easier to put together the project, especially on a non-mojo day!

Swing by the challenge… there’s a ton of wonderfully generous sponsors which means tons of prizes to win!!

Family Fun w/SID

Today’s my reveal day as part of the Double Page Layout team over at Stick it Down!

The sketch we got to play with this month is

And here’s my take on it:

These pictures are from 2009… I think!! haha.  The high school I went to throws a weekend-long Family Fair every April and we go every year so the kids can play carnival games and we can see friends… it’s a lot of fun!  And it’s about time these got scrapped!!  Come join in the fun at Stick It Down… in addition to the double-page sketch, we have a single-page sketch and a card sketch… they’re all super fun!

You Make My Heart Race! w/WD

Whimsie Doodles Banner

I’m blogging over at Whimsie Doodles today!!

Baby Z definitely wore his fussy pants all day today and I haven’t been able to sit and craft for more than about 10 minutes at a time!!  But that’s one thing I LOVE about some of these Whimsie Doodle images… they are a breeze to color and they are so cute, you don’t need to do much to make a super fun card!!

I’m definitely in a valentines crafting mood!!  And with the boys, I always have to think of how I can do hearts and valentines without going too girly, so this image was just PERFECT!!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!!  I’m off to relieve my poor husband… I can hear the baby having a crying fit in the other room!!

Love Is In The Air w/WD

Whimsie Doodles Banner

It’s time for a new monthly challenge over at Whimsie Doodles!!  We will once again have two (2) lucky winners.  One winner will be drawn at random to win a FREE Whimsie Doodles image of their choice from our latest release.  And the second winner will join our team as a Guest Artist in a future month!  You don’t need to use a WD image to enter for the random digi winner, but you *DO* need to use a WD image to be considered for the Guest Artist spot… but check out the freebies if you’re need one!

This month, the theme is “Love is in the Air.”  I took a peek in the Valentine’s section of the store and the first digi that pops up is this cute couple, ‘Holding Hands.’  How sweet are they??  Love it.

Thanks for stopping by… hope you come join us in the challenge!!
