Eggs to my Bacon w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m over on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a fun mini-card set!

I used one of the cutest brad sets, the Breakfast Bacon, Eggs, and Toast Brads. This time I used only the eggs and bacon brads for these mini 3×3 cards because they were a perfect fit with this sentiment!! Eyelet Outlet makes these adorable Breakfast Clear Stamps that would work perfectly with these brads too, but I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on them yet!! So I made it work with what I had on hand!!

Love this little set of cards… Perfect for lunch box notes too!! Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Piggy Puppy w/Kinda Cute

Hello friends! Sharing another card using an amazing digi from the Kinda Cute by Patricia shop! This is one of the THREE piggies from the Piggy Set and he is just too cute! Honestly I fell in love with this pig because he reminds me of my puppy lol!! She sits with her head tilted and her ears flopped over like this all the time!! So now this is my favorite piggy puppy haha!!!

I colored him up with my Copics – and I wish I had waited to match the PP before doing so!! I think I would have been so much happier with him a little less salmon-pinky and more bubblegum pink to match the paper!! But he is still cute!!

Make sure you stop by the Kinda Cute by Patricia Facebook Group and see what the rest of the team is up to!!

First Responder Birthday

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a birthday card for a special little boy!

My kids are gearing up to go back to school in just a few short weeks so I wanted to start prepping some birthday cards for them to give away because I inevitably end up needing them!! My youngest is still obsessed with vehicles of all types, especially emergency ones so these First Responder Brads ended up being perfect to make a card with!! In fact, he wants to keep it so I might need to make another if he won’t give it back lol!!

I also added some fun washi tape to the bottom of the card. This Road Washi Tape is just the perfect complement to these (or any vehicle) brads, and I thought that this Red Dot Washi Tape finished the bottom of the card really nicely! The last thing I did was add some Yellow Glitter Enamel Dots to the bottom corner of the card to balance out that yellow “hooray” sentiment.

Super fun preschooler’s birthday card!! Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Sharks!!

Hi friends! I’m on the Beth Duff Designs Blog today to share a pair of cuties with you!! These sharks are from the Best Fins digi set in the Beth Duff Designs store and I just ADORE them!!

My first card features the exercising shark and “best fins” sentiment. I colored him up with my Copics and then cut him out. Then I fishtailed the sentiment piece and added them to the card. The last thing I did was to add some sequins to the corners of the card for a little oomph!!

The next card I made was using this shark wearing the lei and holding the `ukulele. I’m from Hawaii (born and raised!) and my hubby and kiddos are all part Native Hawaiian so I always love seeing cute stamps and digis with some local flavor!! Once again I colored this shark up with my Copics, and used another sentiment from the Best Fins digi set. I definitely wanted to keep the focus on this shark, so I tried to keep the background kind of neutral in colors and patterns. (Love the sentiment, btw!!)

Thanks so much for stopping by, and hope to see you again soon!! Make sure to pop into the BDD Facebook Group to see what everyone else is up to!

It’s time for a new Time for Tea Designs make!! And I shared it in the FB group but totally forgot to blog it here lol!! This is Birthday Bonnie from the T4T Etsy Store and she is totally good for more than just birthday cards!

I colored her up with my Copics and then added this sweet friendship sentiment. Love how simple this was to put together!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a punny card with you!!

I used the brand new Crafter’s Essentials 1 Dies on this card. That stitched rounded piece is such a perfect size and I was so happy with how nicely it fit in the center of the card… big enough to make a statement but not so big that you don’t get to see the paper behind it!!  I stamped out Nessie from the Loveable Legends by Lawn Fawn stamp set, then used the coordinating dies to cut her out and then colored her up with my Copics. I used the waves stamp from the same stamp set and stamped out some water on the stitched panel using the Mermaid ink pad, and then offset her to the side a bit. I also stamped out the sentiment using the Merman ink pad and then made a fishtail banner out of it!

The last thing I did was to add some sequins because sequins always make it better lol! For this one I picked out blues and clears from the Turquoise Sunrise sequin mix, and then greens from the Spring Leaves sequin mix. I really love that you can mix and match from different sequin mixes to make what works for your project!!

Quite the Catch w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a punny fishing card!

I used one of the brand new clear stamps, the Fish Stamp Set from the Eyelet Outlet store. It has this super cute sentiment on it and I thought it would be fun to pair with some of the fish brads and a fishing pole… who knew they made fishing pole brads?!? Awesome!!

I used a wavy border die to create the… well… waves, and was able to actually use one long strip of scrap paper to do it! After I layered it together, I added some Trout and Bass brads to the waves to make it look like they were swimming and jumping out of the water! The last thing I did was add the Fishing Pole brad after stamping out the sentiment from the Fish Stamp Set.

Super fun masculine card!! I loved being able to use my scraps on this!! Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

CFC 203 w/CAS-ual Fridays

So honored to be a Girl Friday!!! This is my first post with the rest of the team at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!! It’s time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!! This fortnight, the challenge is:

I used the adorable stamp set Somebunny from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps shop. (he also has matching dies too!)

I heat embossed the stars in the background with clear embossing powder on watercolor paper. And then I laid over some Zig Pearlescent watercolors over it. Love these watercolors and the shimmer it leaves! I used grey/silver, and then added some blues over it in places to give it more of a galaxy sky kind of coloring. I popped up the bunny and his stars up on some 3d dots to make him stand out.

And to add some extra heat embossing, I heat embossed the sentiments (also from the Somebunny stamp set) with some nice silver embossing powder on black cardstock and then cut them into little strips. Super happy with how it came out!!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you come join us in the challenge!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a fun foodie card for a special birthday!!

I used the brand new Crafter’s Essentials 1 Dies on this card – just two of the ten million dies in this set… I kid!! But there really are TONS of dies in this set and they’re all amazing!! So from this new die set, I used the window die and fishtail banner die. I stamped out the “happy birthday” sentiment from the Everyday Brushstrokes Stamp Set using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink. And then I stamped out a bunch of the foodstuffs from the Punny Snacks Stamp Set, fussy cut them, and then colored them up with Copics. I tucked them into the windows and tried to spread them out… LOVE!! This Punny Snacks Stamp Set is just too much fun!!

Bake the World w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a sweet food card!

I used this gorgeous image/sentiment stamp from the Cooking Stamp Set. the whole thing, from the “Bake” to the oven and the bottom script sentiment are one stamp. And it stamps so nicely too!! After coloring it up with my Copics, I diecut it with this cute scalloped square, and then matted it on some red cardstock. I wanted to match the colors that the mitts come in from the Cooking Brads set.

I also stamped out the mitts from the Cooking Stamp Set onto my background paper, leaving space on the left side of the card to add some mitt brads from the Cooking Brads set. The last thing I did was to add this big epoxy heart (the biggest red one in the Heart Epoxy – Pink Set) to the middle of the oven. I think it was the perfect size!

Love how this card came together. And I really like the colors too! Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!
