Congrats Washi Card w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a super easy and super fun graduation card!

I started with some wide star washi for this card, laying it out diagonally over a white piece of cardstock. Then I used some Glitter Black Washi Tape and Glitter Copper Washi Tape to make matching bands to cover the rest of the white cardstock piece! I actually used 2 strips of black, and then 2 strips of copper… using just 1 strip was too thin in my opinion.

All this card needed after that was this nice “congrats” sentiment and then it was done! The shine is just gorgeous and I absolutely love how it came out!! And the awesome thing is that you can’t really even see the seams between washi strips… it just looks like that’s the pattern on the paper itself!!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Hi Friends! I’m on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to share a fun card for a special graduate!! But you could totally use it for any other congratulatory occasion!

This card is for a friend whose son is graduating from high school. The school’s colors are blue and orange… but I stuck the yellow in there just to mix it up a little bit. I used the brand new rectangle scallop dies to make my card (I used the 2nd to the largest die). And it’s a good card to use your scraps with too… since you really only see one corner of the die cut piece you can use pieces that are just large enough to fit what’s visible!! I finished my card off with some baker’s twine and the “congratulations” sentiment from the Everyday Brush Strokes stamp set.

I’m really happy with how this card came out and look forward to giving it to the new graduate! Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon! Don’t forget to take part in our awesome monthly challenge for your chance to win a $25 Gift Card!!

First Dance w/Time for Tea Designs

Hello friends! Sharing another make using a beautiful digi from Time for Tea Designs. This is First Dance and I think they look so sweet! I tried to do a white on white card… but it looks so plain to me haha! I think maybe next time I need to add a bigger pop of color somewhere.

I tried adding some glitter to the ribbon in her hair but I don’t think it was enough for me… oh well! I do love how subtle the coloring in her dress is though. I really tried to keep it white.

Make sure to swing by the Time for Tea FB Group to see what the rest of the team is up to!

Donut know… w/Eyelet Outlet

\Hi Friends! Iʻm on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a fun donut card!

I used some fun washi tape and a donut brad to make this card. First, I stamped all over the right side of a white piece of cardstock and then added the washi to the right side. I used some Donut washi tape and Glitter Light Pink washi tape from the Eyelet Outlet store.

I then wrapped some twine around it and then added the donut brad to finish it off before sticking it down on a brown cardstock piece. So cute! Love the colors and that fun donut brad is just perfect!

Thanks for stopping by today and see you again soon!!

Air Mail w/Eyelet Outlet

Hi Friends! I’m on the Eyelet Outlet blog today to share a quick but pretty thank you card!

This Red White Blue Stripe washi tape in the Eyelet Outlet store reminded me of air mail and sending happy mail! So I wanted to make a card using it so that I could send a quick but simply decorated thank you card! I even lined the envelope with a strip of this Red White Blue Stripe washi tape to match!! And I dug through my stash and found this super cute paper airplane stamp along with this perfectly matched sentiment!

2018-05 May 10 Cards, 1 Kit w/Creative Escape Papercrafting

Hey friends! Sharing another 10 Cards, 1 Kit video using the May Amazing Value Kit from Creative Escape Papercrafting! I shared the haul video last week, and then got to play with it a little bit! And like usual, I have a TON of stuff leftover and plan to try to make another 10 cards using whatever I have left + some extra cardstock. So without further ado, here’s the 10 cards I made, and at the very end of the post I have a video of how I put it all together!!

Loved this. Usually am scared of wood embellishments but these words were just gorgeous.

I had to do multiple embossings on this one to make it stand out. And I tried to go for a falling rain/falling stars effect with the sequins.

The word “glows” on this card uses both glitter embossing powder and glow-in-the-dark embossing powder. I think the whole card came out so cute!!

And as promised, here’s the video! As usual, I am diecutting pieces that won’t be seen to try and get more out of my paper and cardstock!

Thanks for stopping by and see you again soon!
