Little Soccer Boy w/SID

First off, I just wanted to share that it’s Little A’s birthday today, whoo-hoo!!!  My little man turns 8 today… I can’t believe how time flies! StickItDown-banner

Today’s my reveal day as part of the Double Page Layout team over at Stick it Down!

The sketch we got to play with this month is:

Double may

And here’s my take on it:

I had a LOT of fun with my circle cutter for this one!!! haha.  At first when I saw all the circles in the sketch I though of water/bubbles.  But lazy bones that I am hasn’t actually printed pictures since JAN 2014.  OOPS!!!!  Can you believe it?!?  I am trying ridiculously hard to use up the thousands (you heard me, THOUSANDS) of pictures I have printed from the past couple years.  And I know, my poor Baby Z.  He doesn’t have a single scrapbook page done.  I will get to it, I promise!!

Anywhoo, back to the layout… I matched up a lot of papers from the random, color-coded portion of my stash.  Why?  Because I don’t have a SINGLE soccer thing!  haha!!  My kids aren’t exactly sporty so I haven’t had a need to be stocked up on it!  The soccer ball is a die I got to use from a wonderful (super organized!) new friend I made at a recent crop.  It’s been FOREVER since I’ve been to one so I’m so glad to have found such a nice group of gals, even though it’s so far away from me!!!  Just about the opposite end of the island from me!!

Hope you’re having a wonderful week!  We’re heading out for Little A’s birthday dinner!!

Gabbie as Cinderella w/FAE

I’m blogging over at Faery Ink!! For today’s inspiration post, I got to play with this beautiful lady Gabbie as Cinderella (found on the Newest Releases page).   She is just too cute!!  I left off a sentiment because I don’t have a recipient/occasion in mind and she is versatile enough to use for birthday, congratulations, wedding… and so much more!

I found this leaf scrap from a birthday pad and built my card around it!  It reminded me of pumpkin vines!!  I colored her up with copics and just kinda pieced it all together and really love how it came out!

Thanks for stopping by today!  See you again soon!!

Life Saver w/WD

Whimsie Doodles Banner

I’m blogging over at Whimsie Doodles today!!  This is Life Saver from the Summer Fun digis page.  She is so cute! We’re not much of a nautical family, although the hubs likes to go fishing on his dad’s boat once in a very long while.  And I get seasick quite easily so boats aren’t my favorite thing!!

I am SO ready for summertime… not looking forward to the heat and humidity but the sunny days and extra time with the kiddos is always a good thing!!  As much as I love winter and cold and rain, enough is enough, don’t you think??

Love Swing w/OMF

It’s the second week of our current challenge over at Open Minded Fun Crafting Challenges!  The theme this challenge is “Wedding/Anniversary”.  I got to play with this cutie, “Spring Swing Rebekah” from Beansie Doodle.

I colored her up with some copics and paired her with a lot of cardstock (lol!) and some scrap paper from Bo Bunny’s Head Over Heels line.  Added some punched shapes and a baker’s twine bow and wah-lah!  Super easy card to put together!

Swing by the challenge… there’s a ton of wonderfully generous sponsors which means tons of prizes to win!!

Mermaid On The Rocks w/FAE

It’s time for a Faery Ink new release!!   The release this month (and I believe from now on) is staggered, so there’s new goodies every week!!  This is Mermaid On The Rocks (found on the Newest Digis page) and I have to say that this is the MOST FUN I’ve had coloring a digi in a long time.  Don’t get me wrong, I love coloring all kinds of cute digis, but I think the combination of colors for her hair and mermaid-parts were so different than what I tend to work with that it was fun to just play around a bit.  And I know I already made a different card for the Scenery challenge over at the Faery Ink FB group, but for whatever reason, this digi made me realize how much I actually enjoy coloring grounding/scenery!!

Thanks for stopping by, go check out theFaery Ink blog to see what else is new so far this month!!

Graduation Joseph w/ZAC

It’s time for a new challenge over at Zuri Artsy Craftsy!  This fortnight, the challenge is, “Graduation.”  The image I am playing with is
“Joseph,” and he can be found in the Zuri Artsy Craftsy Etsy store!

So cute!!  And I am proud of myself with this card… no patterned paper used!!  And it’s hard to see but the black is an embossed panel too!  I SORELY need to do some stash shopping… I’m almost completely out of sequins and crystals/bling, and super low on stickles!!  How sad is that??  At least I had these stars for this card!!

Hope to see you over at ZAC… you DO need to use a ZAC digi to play along but there are tons of freebies to grab and they’re all super cute!!!

Epic Birthday w/WD

Whimsie Doodles Banner

It’s time for a new monthly challenge over at Whimsie Doodles!!  We will once again have two (2) lucky winners.  One winner will be drawn at random to win a FREE Whimsie Doodles image of their choice from our latest release.  And the second winner will join our team as a Guest Artist in a future month!  You don’t need to use a WD image to enter for the random digi winner, but you *DO* need to use a WD image to be considered for the Guest Artist spot… but check out the freebies if you’re need one!

This month, the theme is “One for the Boys,” and this is a theme I can definitely work with!!  I used the digi “Epic” on the bottom half of the This & That digis page. I tried to keep the card pretty plain… my kids aren’t fond of a lot of embellishments so I figured their friends wouldn’t like it either!  But I had to put a little bit of bling on it… but they’re star shaped so that’s boy-ish enough, right?? haha.

Hope to see you enter our challenge!!

DTBST #281 – Make A Tag w/SSD

It’s Dare To Be Sassy Thursday over at Sassy Studio Designs!!  DTBST #281 is to make a tag!  I used Maxi Skirt Momma 2 which unfortunately is going to be discontinued soon!!  I just love her!!  And so many of my friends are having kids now I thought this would be a good thing to have on hand… A gender-neutral baby tag!!  haha.

I colored her up with Copics and and added her to a scrap of paper that I punched using the SU! tag topper punch.  LOVE that punch!!  Hope you join us over at SSD!!

Faery Ink Birthday Blog Hop!

It’s time for a birthday blog hop with Faery Ink!! I got to play with this wonderful digi “Girls Lift Too” and when I saw it I knew that it was something I definitely needed!!  And I left the card blank because I wasn’t sure what to use it for… but the more I look at it, the more I think I’m going to put it in my planner to remind and encourage me to work out!!

I have been struggling with migranes for days on days and am limited in what meds I can take because I’m still nursing Baby Z.  So I thought maybe I just need a good juice cleanse!!  So I get one meal, one snack, and two protein shakes a day plus as much water as I can manage!  And I’ve lost over 2 lbs just doing this since last week!  So my motivation is definitely up to lose the baby weight… since I cannot crash diet and take supplements, that forces me to exercise.  UGH.  Not one of my favorite things to do!!

So anywhoo, back to this digi.  There’s so much I can gush about!!  I just loved the folds in her tanktop, her short-shorts, and I LOVE the waves in her hair. Just you wait, this will be me some day!! haha!!

And don’t forget to leave me a comment for your chance to win her!!

Thanks for celebrating Faery Ink’s 12th birthday with us! If you’re just joining in, make sure you check out the original blog hop post below:

Don’t forget to comment on this post as well for your chance to win…

2 Cards 2-Day, WOW!!!

This post is for the Gerda Steiner Designs DT Call.  I just found these super DUPER adorable images through another DT I’m on.  Love the opportunity to get to find new digis!!

This first card is using “Mouse Phone” – I wanted to make a completely white CAS card but managed to drag my marker across the top of the panel and couldn’t fix it/cover it up so trimmed the panel down and popped it up on some foam dots.  And ta-da!!! Salvaged CAS card!!  haha.

This next card was SO fun to color!!  And it’s Christmas… I just love making Christmas cards.   This is “Tangled Up” and he’s just too cute.  Yup, I’m dubbing this kitty a boy.  Coloring his Christmas lights was a lot of fun!  Makes me want to hang some colorful lights around the house for the fun of it!  And if you can believe it… I ran out of clear circle crystal stickers/rhinestones!!!  And I think yesterday was the last day of the sale at my local Ben Franklin… ugh.  Hopefully they’ll be on sale again soon so I can stock up.

I finished this card off with some Frosted Lace Stickles…

… and a button topped with a cute little bake’s twine bow.  And no, I didn’t bother trying to thread the twine through the button this time! haha.  I just glued it down.  But you can’t tell anyway so it doesn’t matter that I took a shortcut!!

That’s it for today!  Thanks for this opportunity!!
