It’s time for a new challenge over at Zuri Artsy Craftsy!  This fortnight, the challenge is, “Friendship.”  The image I am playing with is “Nadya,” and she can be found in the Zuri Artsy Craftsy Etsy store!  I thought this was a super cute digi for this challenge!  I would love to be friends with a snowman!!  haha.

Hope to see you at ZAC!!  Remember you need to use a ZAC digi to play but there are tons of super cute freebies to play along

Mix Media Simply Beautiful w/LBBS

It’s Creative Wednesday over at Little Blue Button Stamps!  Today I’m sharing “Mix Media Simply Beautiful” and she can be found on the New Release page of the store!

She was so much fun to color.  I loved shading out her skin and hair!!  You know, initially I thought I wouldn’t like these types of headshot images but I’ve come to love them!!

Come swing by the LBBS blog and see what else is new!!

Playtime (2 days late!)

The Double Page Layout team over at Stick it Down had their reveal a couple days ago and silly me forgot to add it to my blog!  So here it is, just 2 days late!!!  whoops!!  haha!!

The sketch we got to play with this month is:

2015-07 Double

And here’s my take on it:

I purposely left off the flowers and stars… I wanted this one to be simple.  But now I think it’s too simple.  I’ll probably go back and add more to it.

That’s it for today… If you can’t tell I haven’t been in much of a scrappy mood!!  I think it’s probably because I haven’t had the energy to do much of anything!!  Only two more weeks until I get a break from my 40 hours, 6 days a week work weeks… I’m definitely looking forward to the break!!

Amber Witchy w/FAE

It’s time for some Faery Ink inspiration!!  This cutie is Amber Witchy (in the “Newest Digis” section of the shop) and when I saw her I KNEW I wanted to play with her right away!  You all must be thinking that I’m CRAZY for jumping ahead so many months but I can’t help it!!  I’m in the middle of planning Baby Z’s 1st birthday party and the theme is “Halloween/Monster party” so I’ve been looking at and thinking of not much else!! haha.  So when I saw this adorable digi I knew I wanted to work with her and I KNEW I wanted to make her into a Halloween card!!

I colored her up with my Copics in fun Halloween colors.  I knew I wanted to make her colorful so went with the bright green accessories and bright orange hair.  So fun!!  To finish it off, I added some stickles to the crystal on top of her staff… and then trimmed her out!

So my big issue with this card was stamping the sentiment – I have 2 different white inkpads and one of them doesn’t stamp a nice, bold white… and the other seems to have dried out!!  So I definitely need to invest in a new white inkpad but don’t know what to look for.  But I remembered that I had this nice metallic purple that worked PERFECTLY.  A little crooked, but still, PERFECT!  haha!!

Thanks for swinging by today, hope youʻre having a wonderful summer!!  Two more weeks of work and I get to have a short break before the semester starts and I’m busy all over again!!!

Playing with Dolls! w/OMF

It’s time for a new challenge over at Open Minded Fun Crafting Challenges!  The theme this challenge is “#41 – Kids Want To Have Fun.”  I got to play with an image by SLS Lines, “Voodoo Doll.”  And it’s our last challenge!!  So sad!!  I just wanted to stop here and say thanks to Vicky and Susan for the opportunity to create with a super wonderful team and wish everyone the best… I’m sure we’ll see each other around in blog-land!!!

And back to my card… I know, it’s kind of weird for the theme but hear me out!!  When I thought of kids playing, I thought of playing with dolls.  And then I saw this digi and my dark/twisted humor came out a little bit and thought that this was just a HILARIOUS interpretation of what I wanted to do.  haha.

Swing by the challenge… there’s a ton of wonderfully generous sponsors which means tons of prizes to win!!

Birthday Mermaid w/SSD

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the “Girly” challenge over at “Brown Sugar Challenges” as well as the “Anything Goes” challenge over at Simply Papercrafts.  I made one card for both challenges… yay me!  haha.  And I know I could have ‘girlied-up’ this card a lot more but if you know anything about me, you know that with me, less is more!!

I had SO MUCH FUN coloring her tail and her hair.  I think this red hair combo is one of my new favorites… but it just might be because it’s the same color as Little A’s hair right now!! haha!!

He wanted his hair to be the same color as one of his favorite singers…

I’m one of those crazy cool moms that agrees to almost whatever the kiddos want… I figure it’s just hair, right?  No harm… it’ll grow out in a couple weeks and we can just start all over!!  And I think we did really well with matching the color too!!  haha. I think he said he wants to try purple next… and I said sure, why not??  Might as well do whatever he wants before he goes to a school that restricts him!!

Happy Friday friends!  It’s the weekend!!!

생일 축하합니다!!

생일 축하합니다!!  Happy Birthday!! (in Korean if you’re not familiar)

This is Aurora Cabbage Butterflies and she was a freebie the other month from The East Wind (via newsletter) and I just LOVED her.  Korean language is one of my minors and I couldn’t help but color her up!!  And I even hand-wrote the sentiment on the card too… I was too lazy to print it out on the computer and although my handwriting isn’t the prettiest, it’s legible.  haha!!

See, I told you I’d find more time to craft!!!  lol.  So happy to create something just because and not because I’m on a deadline!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Anything Goes Christmas w/SSD

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the “Anything Goes w/Christmas” challenge over at “A Snowflakes Promise.”  This was a super simply one to put together with a couple of scraps from my folder… I love scraps!!  haha.  Just a super quick post for me… I have been so busy with work and am trying to play catch up with some very overdue crafting time!!

Adieu for now… I finish working on the 31st so I’m counting down the days until I get some time back to myself!!  I have 3 weeks where I’ll only be working 2 days a week before the semester starts and I go back to a busy (but not as busy as now!) schedule!!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

It’s Aloha Friday (I mean it WASSSSSSSS Aloha Friday 2 days ago lol) and it’s time for a mid-inspiration post over at Kitty Bee Designs’ Aloha Friday Challenges!  The theme for this challenge is “Christmas In July” and we’re sponsored by Lacy Sunshine.

This was a fun card to color… I love coloring lights!  haha.  And it’s been so long since I’ve made a card for this challenge so it was nice to sit down and make something this week!!  I TOTALLY meant to post this on Friday but never finished typing this post out and left it in draft mode.  It’s been too long I think!!  haha.  Make sure you swing by and play along!
